Captain Christopher J. Lamoureux

 CPT Christopher J. Lamoureux hails from San Antonio, Texas.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Christian University and received his active-duty commissioning through Army ROTC.  After receiving his commissioning, CPT Lamoureux attended Ordnance (OD) Basic Officers Leadership Course (BOLC) at Fort Lee, Virginia.  Upon graduation from OD BOLC, CPT Lamoureux was assigned to the 6th OD Battalion at Camp Carroll, Korea.  He was given the opportunity to serve as Platoon Leader for the 52nd OD Company at Camp Humphreys.  There he was responsible for coordinating ammunition operations throughout Area III while leading US Army and Republic of Korea Soldiers in the ongoing mission of “Fight Tonight.”  After a successful tour, CPT Lamoureux was assigned Executive Officer for Tango Company, 266th QM Battalion at Fort Lee, Virginia.  This was one of two AIT Companies that train high speed 92G Culinary Specialists.  He then served as the Battalion Adjutant where he was responsible for both Permanent Party and AIT student actions.  After graduating from the Army Logistics University’s Logistics Captains Career Course (LOG-C3) he joined his wife at Fort Hood.  He served as the Support Operations Supply and Services section OIC for a year and commanded the Brigade Support Medical Company for 215th Brigade Support Battalion.  In his 24 months as the commander, he completed a very successful NTC rotation and 6-month Poland deployment.   CPT Lamoureux went on to command the Headquarters and Headquarters Company for the United States Army Garrison at Fort Cavazos.  He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and leads from the front as a certified demonstrated Logistician!

CPT Lamoureux’s awards and decorations include:  The German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge, the Norwegian Foot March Badge, the Australian Jump Wings, Air Assault Badge, Airborne Parachutist Badge, Aerial Delivery Material Officer Course Badge, Expert Soldier Badge, Army Achievement Medal (1 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (1 OLC), Meritorious Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Overseas Service Ribbon.     

CPT Lamoureux is married to CPT Mikayla Hamilton (D.O.) of Weatherford, TX.
