Captain Aaron J. Reynolds

CPT Aaron J. Reynolds was born on Fort Bragg, NC (Currently Fort Liberty). He is a native of Fayetteville,
NC. He attended Fayetteville State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice
(Cum Laude) in May of 2015. CPT Reynolds is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Intelligence Studies
from American Military University. He enlisted in the United States Army in October of 2011 as a 92F
(Petroleum Supply Specialist). CPT Reynolds attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson SC. He
attended Advanced Individual training (AIT) at Fort Lee Graduating in July of 2012 (Honor Graduate). In
May 2015 he was commissioned into active Army Service from the ROTC program at Fayetteville State
University as a Military Intelligence Officer with a Branch Detail of Armor. CPT Reynolds served as Cadre
for the Cadet Leader’s Course (CLC) during the summer of 2015 at Fort Knox, KY.

CPT Reynolds previous assignments include Assistant S3, HHT 4th Squadron, 3d Calvary Regiment
(Rear D); Scout Platoon Leader, Outlaw Troop, 4th Squadron, 3d Calvary Regiment; Scout Platoon
Leader, Nomad Troop, 4th Squadron, 3d Calvary Regiment. CPT Reynolds then Deployed to Mosul Iraq in
April 2018 in support of Operation Inherent Resolve as the Plans officer for HHT 4th Squadron, 3d
Calvary Regiment. He simultaneously held the duties supporting the Ninewa Operations Center (NOC) as
the Protection OIC, Information Operations OIC, Civil Affairs OIC and S3 Air OIC. CPT Reynolds was then
assigned as the International Military Student Office (IMSO) OIC for Fort Huachuca, AZ. After graduating
from the Military Intelligence Captain’s Career Course CPT Reynolds was assigned as the Battalion S2 for
503D Military Police Battalion (Airborne), 16th Military Police Brigade. CPT Reynolds was then selected to
activate Alpha Detachment, 519th IEW BN (CORPS), 525th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade in
October 2021. The activation was a part of the first Force Design Update (FDU) transforming the 519th
Military Intelligence Battalion to the 519th IEW BN (Corps). CPT Reynolds now serves at the Assistant
Professor of Military Science at UNC-Charlotte.

CPT Reynolds military education includes Combative Level 1, Armor Basic Officers Leader Course
(ABOLC), Army Reconnaissance Course (ARC), Advanced Situational Awareness Course, Stryker’s Leaders
Course, Order of the Silver Spur, UAS CDR & Staff Leaders Course, Military Intelligence Officer Transition

Sergeant First Class Christopher Parrish

SFC Parrish, Christopher is a native of Goldsboro, North Carolina and he entered the Army in October 2005 as an Infantryman 11B.

He attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Benning, Georgia

SFC Parrish has served in every leadership position from team leader to Platoon Sergeant. SFC Parrish has served as a SAW Gunner, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Bradley Section Leader/ Bradley Commander, Drill Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant and Battalion Operations NCOIC.

His stateside assignments include Fort Benning, Georgia and Fort Bragg, North Carolina. His overseas assignments include Caserma Ederle, Italy. He has deployed to Afghanistan four times and Iraq once.

Captain Ian Marecic

Captain Ian Marecic, of Westford, MA, graduated from Boston University and commissioned in the US Army as an Armor Officer in 2012. He attended Armor Basic Officer Leader’s Course and the Army Reconnaissance Course at Fort Benning, Georgia in 2013.

CPT Marecic’s first duty station was Fort Carson, CO, where he served as a Tank Platoon Leader while deployed in support of Operation Spartan Shield with 1-67 AR, 2nd ABCT, 4ID, as well as a Company Executive Officer. While assigned to 2-1 CAV, 1st SBCT, 4ID, he served as the Squadron Battle Captain and Maintenance Platoon Leader and attended the Cavalry Leader’s Course. Upon completion of the Maneuver Captain Career Course, Ranger School, and the Combat Advisor Training Course, CPT Marecic served in A Troop, 3rd Squadron, 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade as an Operations Advisor and Advisor Company Executive Officer during its maiden deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel. In May 2019, CPT Marecic was assigned to the 6th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment as the Squadron S4. CPT Marecic commanded Blackfoot Troop, 6-1 CAV from July 2020 to May 2021. He commanded Havoc Company (HHC), 1-36 IN Battalion from May 2021 to December 2021. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at Gardner-Webb University and Davidson College.

Mr. Richard Taylor

Captain Richard Taylor was born in Florence, SC on 15 January 1992. He attended Presbyterian College from 2011-2014 where he was a member of the Cross-Country team, Lacrosse team, and Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History, with minors in Chinese, and Military Science. Captain Taylor commissioned in 2014 as a Second Lieutenant in the Armor branch for the South Carolina Army National Guard.

Upon graduation Captain Taylor served as the Military Science instructor at Newberry College until he attended Armor Basic Officer Leadership Course (ABOLC) at Fort Benning, Georgia. He served as a Tank Platoon Leader under D Co 1-118th IN REGT and Executive Officer (XO) under A Co 4-118th IN REGT after renaming. After his assignment of XO, Captain Taylor was assigned to HHC, 4-118th IN REGT where he served as a Plans Officer in the S3 Operations shop. In 2019 Captain Taylor deployed with 4-118th IN REGT as a part of the 30th ABCT to the Middle East including Kuwait and Iraq. Captain Taylor acted as C2 OIC, Plans Officer, BN IO, BN Safety Officer, and BN LNO during the deployment. Upon returning from the deployment Captain Taylor was assigned Company Commander of A Co, 4-118th IN REGT where he currently serves.

Captain Taylor’s schools include Armor Basic Officer Leadership Course, SC pre-command course, Maneuver Captain’s Career Course, and Common Faculty and Instructor Development Course. He serves as the Senior Military Science Instructor for Gardner-Webb University.

MAster Sergeant Hana Moorscaudle

Master Sergeant Hana Moorscaudle was born in Pavai’ai, American Samoa. She enlisted in
the United States Army in November of 2005, as a 14T Patriot Missile Crewmember. She
graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and Advanced
Individual Training at Fort Bliss, Texas. MSG Moorscaudle has held numerous leadership
positions ranging from Team Leader to First Sergeant.

Lieutenant Colonel Joseph A. Frederick

LTC Frederick is currently serving as the Professor of Military Science, University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

LTC Frederick’s previous assignments include Company Grade Positions in the 302D Brigade Support Battalion, Camp Casey; Joint Detention Group, Joint Task Force Guantanamo; Basra Operations Command Military Transition Team, Iraq; and Company Commander of the 584th mobility Augmentation Company, Fort Hood. His Field grade assignments include Deputy Commander for the Savannah District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; Commander of the 584th Forward Engineer Support Team-Advance; Battalion Executive Officer and Brigade Operations Officer in the 188th Infantry Brigade, Fort Hood; and various staff positions with U.S. Army Europe and Africa. His deployments include service in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM and Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.

He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University, a Master’s of Science in Geological Engineering from the University of Missouri Science and Technology, a Master’s of Business Administration from Columbia College, and a Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a graduate of the Engineer Officer Basic Course, Engineer Captain’s Career Course, Resident Command and General Staff Officer Course, Mechanized Leader’s Course, the Explosive Ordnance Clearance Agent Course and the Transition Team Basic and Advanced Courses.

LTC Frederick’s military awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (one OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (two OLCs) the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (two OLCs), the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, various campaign and service awards, the Combat Action Badge, the Pathfinder Badge, the Basic Parachutist Badge, and the German Armed Forces Military Proficiency Badge (Gold). Major Anthony Hester

Major Anthony Hester was born and raised in Morehead City, NC. In 2009, he enlisted in the North Carolina National Guard as a 36B (Finance Technician). He was assigned to the 112th Finance Management Detachment, where he served as a Finance Technician and detachment XO.

In 2012, MAJ Hester earned his commission as a Military Intelligence Officer through the Army ROTC program at Elizabeth City State University before attending the Military Intelligence Basic Officer Leadership Course (MIBOLC) at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Upon completing MIBOLC, he served in the 1st Infantry Division as a Tactical Unmanned Aerial System (TUAS) platoon leader, Infantry Battalion Assistant S2, and Combined Arms Battalion Assistant S2. In 2016, MAJ Hester completed the Military Intelligence Captain’s Career Course (CCC) before being assigned to the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade (Theater). Upon arrival, he was assigned to the 202nd MI Battalion, where he oversaw and managed CI and HUMINT operations and deployment preparation to support collection activities in the USCENTCOM AOR.
MAJ Hester served as the 513th MIB (T) Brigade S2 before commanding the Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) from 2018-2020. Following command, he would report to the 189th IN BDE (CATB), where he served as an Operations Officer and Intelligence Observer Coach and Trainer (OC/T) for Army Reserve and National Guard units preparing for mobilization.

MAJ Hester currently serves at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as an Assistant Professor of Military Science (APMS).
