Pershing Rifles

In 2012, The Pershing Rifles competed in it’s first NATCON (National Convention). There they won the 1st Place trophy for Color-Guard.

In 2011, The Pershing Rifles went to it’s first NATCON (National Convention). There they applied for their official charter as a company within the National Society of Pershing Rifles. They appeared before the national legistlative body and performed a color guard exhibition routine. The Pershing Rifles were initiated into the national society and charted as Company Z, 4th Regiment.

During the 2011 UNC Charlotte Student Organization Awards, The Pershing Rifles were nominated for Outstanding New Student Organization, and Pershing Rifle member Travis Holland was nominated for the Leadership Legacy Award as well. Their advisor Sean Stewart was nominated and received the Outstanding New Advisor Award.
